Reasons to Clean Your Dryer Vents

Protecting Families One Home at a Time

Longer Drying Times

Does it seem like it is taking longer than normal for your clothes to dry? Make sure the clothes are properly spun when moving them from the washer to the dryer to rule out the washing machine.

Odor Emitting from Dryer

If you detect a foul and persistent odor coming from the dryer each time you open it, there is a good chance that a bird has nested in the dryer vent line. For your convenience, we install bird guards.

Wet Clothes and Lint Screen

When, after the extended drying time, you still find your clothes not fully dry and that the lint in the lint screen is damp is another indicator that you have a clogged dryer vent.

Lint Build-Up at House Vent Exit

If you notice lint built up at the exit vent or bunched up in the bird screen guard, there is a good chance that your dryer vent is clogged.

I never write reviews but this service was awesome. Kevin came out for a simple clean and booster fan install. It ended up being duct replacement and serious troubleshooting. Solved all my problems and was the best service I have had on anything dealing with my house. Thanks guys and especially Kevin!!

West Houston Dryer was highly recommended by Village Plumbing. Their technician Kevin arrived 15 minutes early and after removing a lot of wet lint blockage told us to run the air only cycle for an hour or two. After two successful dryer loads the flow sensor came back on. True to their 6 month guarantee, Kevin returned 3 days later without charge, and worked on it until the blockage finally let loose, due to his previous visit suggestion to run the air only cycle that dried out the wet lint blockage just enough for their...
